The apartment is just a few hundred metres from Meidling Station and Meidling Market, which is a great place for breakfast and a stroll. Schönbrunn Palace is also only a 20 minute walk away - with its beautiful park including the landmark Gloriette and the chic Schönbrunn outdoor pool.
The city centre (Karlsplatz) is quickly and easily reached by tram (62/WLB). The stop is right behind the building. The U6 underground line or tram (6/18) will take you to Mariahilfer Strasse, Vienna's main shopping street, in just a few stops. The nearby bus 59A and the express train from Wien Meidling to Wien Mitte will also take you into the city centre.
Numerous supermarkets and restaurants are within walking distance. The Wienerberg recreation area with its beautiful swimming pond can also be reached by bus or on foot in about 20 minutes.
