Living near Salzburg City

Welcome to our property in Thalgau! Here, you’ll enjoy the beautiful location, the tasteful furnishings, and the many leisure activities in the area.

The apartment is situated on the first floor of an ideally located private house, close to the main street, but still in a quiet neighborhood, offering a large, beautiful sun terrace (including a sun sail) with a wonderful view. The spacious living/dining area with panoramic windows is well-lighted and attractively designed. The fully equipped kitchen with an island and bar stools offers another dining area. The bathroom, shower, bath, and toilet are newly renovated with modern fixtures and stylistic elements. The bedroom with a queen-sized bed and balcony is on the second floor. A sauna in the garden is also available for use.

A bike trail leads directly past the house, connecting you to Salzburg or Mondsee. There are also many other outdoor activities nearby, including hiking up Thalgau’s “house mountain”, the Schober, horse-riding at the adjacent Zacherlhof, as well as taking a stroll through the forests nearby. Thalgau also has its own outdoor pool.

Mondsee can be reached in a few minutes by car or 13 minutes by bus, from the bus station right next to the house.

The distance from Thalgau to Salzburg is 25 kilometers. It takes 41 minutes by bus, and buses leave every 30 minutes during the day and hourly at night.

A small shop is two minutes walking away; a supermarket, pharmacy and health care is all within one kilometer.
