Our old but renovated mill is located on the outskirts of the city of Salzburg close to nature. Next to the house there is a river with several creeks and a forest. A perfect retreat for a stay in Salzburg.

Descripiton of accommodation

In the Glock mill, both rustic flair and modern architecture create a cozy living atmosphere.
Especially in the summer time this is the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle and the heat - the proximity to the river combined with thick walls are cooling the house pleasantly and the sound of the water has a relaxing effect on body and mind.
The house extends over 3 floors. On the ground floor there is a cloakroom, a kitchen-living room, a toilet and access to the private terrace. On the first floor there is a bedroom with a separate bathroom. On the second floor there is the second bedroom from which you have direct access to a balcony and a bathroom with a bathtub.

Infrastructure

The next bus stop can be reached in 10 minutes on foot. From there, buses go to the center, to the train station and also to beautiful excursion destinations such as the lakes and mountains of Salzkammergut.
The picturesque "Festspiel" festival city of Salzburg can be reached in 20 minutes by bus.
The best (and probably fastest) way to get around Salzburg is by bike.
The nearest bakery is right by the bus stop and the nearest supermarket and pharmacy can be reached in 15-20 minutes on foot.

House rules

We recently renovated this house ourselves recently and would be happy to find it in the same condition as when we left it :-).

Further information

The former “Glockmühle” mill is a community project. In addition to us, there are 3 families living here who share the front terrace, the entrance area and other common areas. It is important to us that we treat each other well - so we would be happy if you were friendly and careful with our neighbors too :-)
We are using this summer for a longer stay abroad during our maternity leave and will come back afterwards - we can't take everything with us, which is why there are still some personal items in the house. Two rooms in the house are locked and not for use.
Our plants make the house feel cozy and also are happy being watered.
Sustainability is important to us - we kindly ask you to separate your waste.
