contryside feeling in historic mill - idyllic, close to center, family friendly

On the ground floor there is the entrance area, a guest toilet with a sink and a small anteroom. The heart of the apartment, however, is the spacious and fully equipped kitchen and combined living room. Thanks to the use of a lot of wood and the large, south-facing window areas, it is extremely cozy.
The kitchen is equipped with the most modern kitchen appliances (oven, steamer, dishwasher, refrigerator and freezer) as well as an induction cooker on the cooking island. There is space for at least 10 people at the large dining table made of solid walnut wood. All kitchen utensils needed in everyday life are available.
A staircase leads to the living and sleeping area, which is equipped with oak parquet. The largest bedroom has a double bed with 2x90cm high-quality mattresses made from natural materials as well as an extra bed for babies and toddlers (this can also be removed if not needed) and wardrobes and chests of drawers. A private bathroom with shower/bathtub, toilet, vanity unit, mirror cabinet and washing machine is accessible from the bedroom.
The second bedroom consists of a double bed (2x90cm), a desk and 2 closets. This room is adjacent to the second bathroom on the upper floor. This bathroom also has a bathtub, vanity unit, mirror cabinet and toilet and is accessible from the hallway.
Another bedroom has a single bed and a changing table, making it ideal for (small) children.
All windows can be darkened with roller blinds and, in some cases, additional curtains.
The apartment is rounded off by an extremely comfortable and spacious living room. On the large sofa area and the armchair you can enjoy cozy evenings with a film (screen available), a cup of tea or a good book or something similar. An electric piano invites you to make music.
The entire house is pleasantly cool even in summer due to the thick walls. Surrounded by nature and the pleasant sound of the waterfalls, you will find perfect relaxation here.

We partly planned and renovated the apartment ourselves. We also live in the apartment ourselves and treat it with care and would like our guests to do the same.
In addition, the apartment is part of a communal housing project and therefore other families live in the same house.
We therefore ask you to adhere to the following rules:
- Smoking is prohibited in the apartment and on the terrace as well as at the entrance area.
- Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in the apartment.
- Please do not enter the entire apartment with street shoes.
- For the environment, we ask for careful use of resources (electricity, water) and careful waste disposal and separation (waste separation system in place).
- In the interest of the neighborhood, we ask you to keep the night quiet. If it is a little later, please coordinate with the neighbors in advance.
- Our plants would be happy if they were watered regularly.
- The garden areas are private and therefore not included in the use.

The building, called the Glockmühle, is over 600 years old, but has been continually rebuilt and renovated. We converted it into a community housing project. Besides us, three other very friendly families live in the same house, but each in their own apartment.
Since we have a baby ourselves, the apartment is child-friendly. We live in the apartment ourselves and used the summer for a longer stay abroad. There will be personal belongings in the apartment and a small room will be locked.
The apartment enjoys regular ventilation.
The tap water has excellent drinking quality.
