By car a few minutes to the center of Rosegg to the grocery market, tobacconist, post office, restaurants or another 2-3 minutes to Velden. There are shops, hardware stores, etc. in nearby Villach. It is also a very popular cycling area to Lake Wörther or Lake Faaker, which can also be reached in a few minutes.
