The bus stop is also just a 1-minute walk away. Line 181 takes you to the heart of Salzburg city (Mirabell Gardens, train station) in 25 minutes. This makes the apartment perfect for those seeking proximity to the city but also relaxation and peace.

The bus stop for line 181 is practically on our doorstep. It takes about 6 minutes (+3 minutes walk) to the nearest supermarket. The bus also takes you to Salzburg train station and Mirabell Gardens in 25 minutes. Wals is known for its vegetable growers, and there are several small farm shops in the area. There's a pharmacy, a few shops, etc., but many of them are quite spread out.

The house is just one street away from the Saalach River, in a quiet residential area. The Saalach River is a wonderful place for walking and cycling. We like to cycle into town via the Saalach and Salzach Rivers. Arguably the best restaurant in Wals is about a 3-minute walk away and has a huge playground for the little ones.
