CHARMING SMALL VILLA- Special offer for long term rental

The village of Großgmain is about 15-20 minutes drive from the Festival Halls, a drive through a nature conservation area. There are parking spaces for 2 cars next to the house, which sits in a very quiet residential part of the village.

One enters the villa through a large, mirrored hallway, leading to 2 apartments, each of which is about 23 square meters, with a fold-away sofa-bed for one person, desk, TV and radio. One apartment is equipped with a kitchenette, a microwave oven, electric kettle, refridgerator, china, glass, and cutlery. Each apartment has its own bathroom with a shower, toilet and bidet.

A stairway leads to the 65 square meter suite. The elegant drawing room is furnished with antiques, a sitting area, TV, dining area for 6 people, illuminated gallery. There is a double bed in the bedroom, along with built-in cupboards and a TV. On the same floor there is a fully equipped kitchen with a washing machine and dishwasher. The white tiled bathroom has a bathtub, toilet and bidet.

All the antiques have been restored and recently upholstered. There are marble floors throughout the whole villa, with under-floor heating. Large French windows open onto the quiet, sunny garden. The bed/living rooms face the garden, the bathrooms the quiet lane alongside the house. Sheets, towels and security sun blinds are provided.

Our domestic staff has been with us for years and they speak both German and English.

Grossgmain is an unspoilt village, with everything one might need: there are 2 supermarkets, a hairdresser and beauty salon, 2 banks, 3 restaurants and other shops and services. Grossgmain also has a lovely open-air swimming pool, cross-country ski track, a sports centre and a range of walking tours, a ski-resort is nearby. An easy drive, or regular bus service, takes you to the spa town Bad Reichenhall, 4 kms away, or to the Salzburg Festival halls and garage, 15 kms away. There also is a taxi service.

The following lakes, where one can swim, are between 5 and 30 minutes away: Thumsee, Hintersee, Waginger See, Höglwörther See, Aschauer Weiher and the Chiemsee with its lovely hotels, yacht harbours and lake-side walks.
