Descripiton of accommodation

The apartment (appr. 120m2) is located in the 14th district at walking distance from the main entrance of the castle of Schönbrunn and from the windows of the living room you even have a view to the Gloriette in the garden of Schönbrunn. The park of the castle is a perfect place for jogging, walking and just relaxing. The area is very well-connected to the city centre by the metro U4. The metro station “Hietzing”, from where you will reach the “Kärntner Straße”, the main pedestrian area in the centre, within 10 minutes, is less then 5 minutes away. Also the most famous shopping street of Vienna – the Mariahilferstraße – as well as the train station “Westbahnhof” are both just a 15 minutes tram ride away from the apartment.

Certainly, we will also provide you with clean bed-linen and towels, kitchen utensils and other stuff you might need during your stay in Vienna.

To reach our apartment from the airport you just have to take a train (Schnellbahn) to the city (e.g. Nr. 7) and get off at the station “Wien Mitte-Landstraße”. The ride will take about 20 minutes. At “Wien Mitte-Landstraße” just change to the metro line U4 direction “Hütteldorf” and get off at the station “Hietzing.” From there you will need approximately 5 minutes to get to the apartment.

Infrastructure

The apartment is located in the older part of the 14th district, very close (5 minutes walking distance) to the station Hietzing, which is a major transportation hub in the Western part of Vienna. There is the metro stop of the line U4 as well a several lines of tram and bus.
Also the old part of Hietzing with several shops, restaurants and so on are easily reachable by less than 10 minute walk from the apartment. The closest grocery store is Billa, which is reachable in around 5 minutes walking distance.
