Green House Salzburg

Welcome to your home while exploring the world, especially Salzburg. We are your host family while staying in this magnificent city and want you to feel comfortable during your stay. We know what it means to move/travel around the world and how the stay is a big part of your travels. We have been around the globe since we are children and of course pass on this tradition to our children. This is our family project which now we want to share with you.
This is how our story begins…I’m Lisa from the US, living in Europe since over 14 years. I speak, three languages: English, Spanish and German. My husband, Rudi, is Austrian from Salzburg and speaks German and English. Our two girls are born in Germany and speak all three languages. In short, we are locals, loving to live, work, brining up our kids and looking into a future in Salzburg. We know many little inside tips from hiking, swimming at lakes, delicious restaurants, where to get the best cakes in town for celebrations, and how to get around in our magical town. Since, the beginning of our move to Europe, we constantly have guests visiting us so we know what it takes to host guests! I can assure you that you will have a very comfortable and safe stay in our house.
You’ve chosen the right, corner of the world where the grass is greener. It is just an absolutely gorgeous city, surroundings and lots of nature to enjoy at any time of the year. It’s a city that offers activities all year round! It is a perfect place to visit with kids and spend time getting to know the old town, gardens, parks, the zoo, visiting little towns close by, swimming at the lakes, hiking, biking and just getting to know many charming corners.
By staying at our house, we hope you get the feeling of living here and moving around like a local. Plus one great advantage is that you have us so its like visiting your relatives anywhere else in the world.
This house is over a hundred years old and has lots of history that you get to enjoy during your stay. It has many charming details that you will be able to explore. It is located in the middle of the city with many essential possibilities, super markets close by, direct bus connections from the train station, airport, sightseeing spots, close to the main freeway/autobahn, many restaurants/food options close by (even late night snacks or deliveries), walking distance to the city and other main sightseeing locations. The house is centrally located to many places you need to get to during your stay. We lived at this house for many years and loved the perfect location to many activities and places. Plus lots of bike/ walking paths close by. I promise that during your stay you will not miss out nor miss many things. Can’t be in a better location.
We are lucky to offer you a big green garden with a terrace to enjoy warm summer days, easy on property parking garage, three furnished bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room and a living room, plus a guest toilet and a full W/C and shower. The house is fully furnished and ready to be shared for a family with kids, for friends, a family reunion, or simply a couple who loves to feel like at home and bring along their dog friend. Its a really cool house with so much charm and character. You will love it! We lived here for over 5 years and absolutely loved living here, even now when preparing for our guests I miss it and can image living here again. I have to admit, this house loves to be loved and taken care of. I hope you can share lots of love with it and find a magical connection.
