The forester's house is in the center of the village, but still in a quiet location. The apartment is fully and detailed equipped and ready to move into. Großgmain is a 15-minute drive west of the city of Salzburg, right on the Bavarian-Austrian border. Within a radius of 200m there are bakery, tobacconist, supermarket, post office, bank and at least three restaurants / pizzeria. Nearby there is a kindergarten, the elementary school and the municipal office. By car you are in 10 minutes on the highway to Munich or Vienna or at the Salzburg airport. The city of Salzburg takes about 20 minutes by car or 40 minutes by bus (no. 180). There is a very good bicycle path connection to Salzburg and many cycle routes for sporty cycling or mountain biking or for cycling to the surrounding lakes (Thumsee, Waginger See). All outdoor and mountain sports (jogging, climbing, hiking, mountain biking, skiing, swimming) can be practiced in the immediate vicinity. There are various wellness offers (Rupertus-Therme and Kurbad Bad Reichenhall). And above all, there are many cultural sites nearby with many events (Salzburg Festival, various cinemas, State Theater Salzburg, theater and art academy Bad Reichenhall).

House rules

I don't need unnecessary rules and regulations, but two things are important to me:
1. The ground floor apartment is rented to a very nice lady and her family. I ask for a peaceful and friendly coexistence. So if you want to be louder or have a party, please speak it with her in advance or just invite her.
2. We renovated the house and furnished it to a high standard. So please treat the house and apartment well. And if something breaks, please tell me and we will find a solution.

Oh yes, please only smoke on the balcony, clean and airing regulary. The house deserves it and will thank you and be a good home during this time!
