There are many tall windows that let in lots of light all day. Within a few minutes' walk, there is a selection of supermarkets, cafes, and restaurants. The city center is reachable in 15 minutes by streetcar.

The building features many characteristic Jugendstil details, such as stained-glass windows in the stairwell, and whimsical ceiling moldings.

There are two spacious bedrooms. The master bedroom opens onto the iron balcony overlooking the garden. The king-sized bed is a one-of-a-kind, handmade piece of furniture with two high-quality, organic mattresses. Two wardrobes provide ample storage space. There is a designated working space next to the balcony.

The balcony has a small table and two chairs, and space for an herb garden or other plants.

The second bedroom has a twin-sized bed, a small wardrobe, a rocking chair, and a working fireplace.

The living room has a large bay window and provides a comfortable, stylish space to dine and lounge.

The kitchen is equipped with an electric stove and oven, a full-size refrigerator and freezer, plus a smaller refrigerator for drinks. There is no dishwasher.

Next to the kitchen window is a breakfast nook with a unique vintage table that once stood in a Spanish monastery. This can also serve as a second designated working space.

The garden is peaceful and green. There are a table and chairs so you can eat outside or relax with a drink. There are also toys for children and a sandbox.

Please note that the building is on the first floor with no elevator. There are also stairs on the street outside the building - which is actually a nice bonus as this means that no cars drive directly outside your front door or past the garden.

The cottage district is one of the most charming neighborhoods in Vienna. There is a perfect balance of urban amenities and green spaces.

The building opens onto a closed lane for pedestrians only. Within a few minutes' walk, there is a selection of supermarkets, cafes, boutiques, and restaurants. There is also a pharmacy, post office, hair salon, dry cleaning... whatever you may need is in easy walking distance.

Public transportation connects you to the inner city in 15 minutes. The excellent network of streetcars, buses and the regional train makes it easy to get to any other destination in the city as well.

A few minutes' walk in the other direction is Türkenschanzpark, a gorgeous park with ponds, monuments, playgrounds and an observation tower. In under 10 minutes by streetcar, you can also reach Pötzleinsdörferpark and the Vienna Woods, with its renowned hiking trails and vineyards. There is a lively street market on Kutschkergasse, with a farmer's market on Saturdays.

AVAILABILITY
The apartment is available as a short-term rental, ideally 6 - 12 months. We are looking to find someone who can begin their stay in March 2023.

Given the current uncertainty in energy costs in Europe, we are obliged to ask our guests to pay for their own electricity and gas usage. Send us a note for more details.

ABOUT US
We are taking a year leave to travel the world with our toddler and new baby. We are relaxed, friendly people who love to explore and make new connections.

Children are very welcome!! If you have children in your party, we are happy to provide amenities such as a crib, diaper pail, and highchair.

It is important to know that we will not always have access to phone or internet networks during our travels, so we will not be in continuous communication. Therefore, we are looking for renters who can be self-sufficient and take care of issues as they arise.
